Hey Kids!
It's May and it's time for an update!  Laughs on the Landing
had its grand opening a couple weeks ago and now the club is
open to all to see!  Bring your friends, drink some beers (if you
are of age of course) and have a good time.  Shows start at
8pm and end at around 1am.  Thats alot of comedy. Don't
forget to check out the Friends page to see more about
Laughs.
At long last Motel Duplex is up and ready to be seen by the
masses.  Clocking in at a little over 8 minutes long, this is the
only completed scene from the highly anticipated Left At The
Light movie.  Due to other comittments the project had to be
scraped but not before this opening scene was filmed.  Check it
out and let me know what ya think.
And to let me know what you think head over to the Collective
Works Forum.  Sign up, give yourself a name, post something
and we even may reply.  We probably will because we don't do
alot and have alot of free time on our hands.
Just to keep you guys informed, Russ is in a band in South
Korea and he is rockin out.  More details when they become
available.
Thats all the news I have right now.  Later on this month I will
be posting yet another Russ short.  Keep on the look out.
Later dudes.
APRIL
Mid month update?!?!?  It's true.  We have a new FORUM
page!  It's a little raw right now but its ripe for expanding.
Tell your friends!
On the other hand the new movie files that have been put
on the site are pretty darn huge and we are working on
making them smaller and less quality so you can see the
fun.
Also GOTO LAUGHS ON THE LANDING and check out the
new Improv club on the block.
Thats all for now.
Greetings All,
Well it sure is tough to write when there is nothing to write
about.  So I missed a month.  I know it's a real bummer for
you but would it help you to know that I was busy with
projects!  Lets jump in and find out Whats New for the month.
At long last Laughs on the Landing opened April 1st with the
only Fools being the performers(I hate myself for writing
that.)  The bar is open daily and showtimes will be
everyweekend.  But look out because soon they will have
groups all week long to give you your much needed
laughs...on...the...landing(whats wrong with me?)
Other news, our man Adam Grun was almost a Big Loser!
Of course I'm refering to the TV show The Biggest Loser.
He had a few auditions and was asked to be on The Biggest
Loser 2, but because of obligations at home he had to
decline.  Don't worry Adam, to us you will always be the
biggest loser to us (thanks Josh for that line I just stole.)
Russ and Josh seem to be alive and well in South Korea.
Josh is planning on being a huge stand up comdien,(and I
will not make a fat joke.  I think I just did.  That wasn't my
intention...move on just move on.)
Added a few new features.  With the opening of LOTL I
added a little video we made on opening weekend.  Have fun
with that.  Also a new page called Behind the Scenes(get
it...scenes...)  I will be putting little videos of our friends past,
present and future in our little improv comedy world.
Well thats it for my update.  There is a new update box at
the top that tells you whats, well, been updated.  Have fun
and hope to see you soon.
January 11, 2005
Happy New Years!  Wow, it's 2005.  Let me give you the
scoop on all that the Collective Works has been up to:

Collective Works sent Kris, Jana, Adam, Josh, Russ, and Brijul
out  to Joplin, MO to the Missouri Thespians Conference.
They had a blast teaching classes and putting on a show with
friends Ben Swoboda and Steven Vance from City Improv.

Speaking of City Improv, Left at the Light performed to three
packed houses at the club in the month of December.  Left
at the Light is looking to do a couple more shows before
Josh and Russ take a temporary leave of absence to teach
in foreign lands.

Also, look out in the months to come for Laughs on the
Landing to be opening on...the Landing of course.  Kris will
be heading up the all new improv group that also includes
Jana and Dave among other new faces to improv.

I hope that you have a smile on your face knowing that we
are all keeping busy and will soon be out and about
showcasing our skills to you comedy starved masses.  Till
next time...

Left At The Light will have a limited engagment at CITY
Improv for the month of December.  Friday night 10pm show

Also on the horizon is the
Missouri Thesbians Confrence in
Joplin Missouri.  We will conducting workshops with students
from all over Missouri to teach them our brand of Improv.
More info on this will be coming out soon.

Thats all the news for now.  Check out the blank pages of
the groups and read nothing about them!  But be sure to
goto the movie page.  Hope to see everyone soon!
Noveber 1st 2004
Collective Works has been pretty busy putting together
quality shows the last couple months.  Coming up later this
month will be our big "Coming Out" show or "Debutante
Ball" if you will.  We are all very excited.

Though we are calling this our "debut" we have performed
as Collective Works already.  In October we put on a little
show for McCarthy Construction Co.  Every one had a blast.
It was our first opportunity to use the name Collective
Works and it sounded great.  Here are a couple of pictures
from the show.
